A Rustic Adirondack Cookbook of Mountain Recipes, Campfire Cooking & Seasonal Wilderness Living

Whether you’re nestled in a lakeside cabin, hiking through old-growth woods, or simply dreaming of the North Country from your kitchen, this cookbook offers a taste of the Adirondacks that’s both grounding and inspiring.

The Adirondacks are more than a place—they’re a way of life. In Adirondack Appetite: 150 Recipes for Cabin, Camp & Beyond, author Susi Gott Séguret captures the spirit of this storied region through a rich tapestry of recipes, reflections, and cultural insights that celebrate the flavors and rhythms of mountain living.

Inspired by the legacy of the Great Camps and the timeless rituals of campfires, cabins, and cookouts, this collection invites readers to savor the Adirondacks one dish at a time. From wild mushroom risotto foraged in quiet forests to huckleberry pancakes cooked over a morning fire, each recipe is a tribute to the land, the seasons, and the people who call this wilderness home.
